Thomas Clement Salomon
Scientific Director of MondoMostre, Thomas Clement Salomon has two master degrees in Art History and Law.
At first he works in cultural property law, particularly for the criminal protection of our archaeological heritage and collaborates with a roman law firm.
In 2014 he enters MondoMostre an international leading firm for the organization of important art exhibitions and subsequently becomes Scientific Director of MondoMostre-Skira in charge of the cultural programming.
In these years he has curated exhibitions both in Italy and abroad and has assisted the curators as scientific coordinator, in programming and obtaining the loans of works for many exhibitions amongst which: Georges de La Tour L’Europa della luce (Milan, Palazzo Reale, 2020); Picasso Metamorfosi (Milan, Palazzo Reale, 2019); Impressionismo e Avanguardie Capolavori dal Philadelphia Museum of Art (Milan, Palazzo Reale, 2018); Dentro Caravaggio (Milan, Palazzo Reale, 2017), Manet e la Parigi moderna (Milan, Palazzo Reale, 2017), Salvador Dalì Surreal and Classic (Fabergé Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2017) just to mention a few.
He is now working on future programs for the exhibition venues partnered with MoMo in Italy and abroad among which: Palazzo Reale in Milan, Museo Archeologico in Bologna, Palazzo Blu in Pisa where, since 2015 for MoMo he is responsible for cultural planning. He has held lectures in various Universities and Museums and has written essays for exhibition catalogues.
