Margherita Amarelli was born in Cosenza on November 25, 1969.

She graduated in Law at the University of Florence in 1995, and obtained a Master’s degree in Marketing and Business Communication.

Civil lawyer at the Court of Rome.

She is a member of the homonymous Family Group, “Fabbrica di Liquirizia Amarelli srl”, and part of the Boardof Directors, representing the 14th generation. Since 2000, she has directed the legal department of the Company, responsible for legal affairs and contracts

in Italy and abroad. Since 2002, she directs the Marketing and Sales department of the same company. Under her Marketing and Communication guide, coherent changes were introduced, they led the Amarelli Company to be identified as a Category Brand through the history and the construction of a strong identity.

Since 2006, she is also General Manager foreign markets, starting the process of internationalization of the

Company. Under her leadership, the foreign division opened to 26 new markets, increasing the export value by 20%. Under the Commercial guide, the family company achieves the growth targets envisaged in terms of strengthening and identification of the brand, and with an important increase in market share and new distribution positioning. Becoming a leader in the licorice segment.

Product manager for the development of new products in partnership with important Italian companies, in

2013, in synergy with Caffarel SPA, she realizes a successful series of combinations of chocolate and licorice. Being the promoter of the project to make the company the representative of quality Italian licorice, in 2006 she made Amarelli a partner at Eataly, educating consumers and new generations around the world in excellent agribusiness, in the sites of New York, Chicago, Tokyo, Istanbul and Dubai.
