Marco Carlizzi is an attorney with extensive expertise, inter alia, in Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, M&A, Banking and Real Estate, Banking Litigation and Arbitration, and also in non-profit organizations, associations and foundations.
Founding Partner and Head of Legal Department at RSM Studio Palea Lauri Gerla, he is a member of the Rome Bar since 2001 and authorised to practise before the High Courts since 2014.
He is also an independent director of Banca Etica since 2013 and Etica Sgr since 2014 and a frequent speaker at numerous conferences on Ethical Finance and Corporate Law, as well as author of several articles and scientific publications.
He holds a PhD in Commercial Law from the Tor Vergata University in Rome, is a lecturer at the Federico II University in Naples and was a Visiting Scholar at the Columbia University in New York in 2014. Marco is 49, has two daughters and lives in Rome. He is an art and travel enthusiast, with a particularly keen interest for responsible development of culture and museum structures, as well as for informed and aware tourism.
