Barbara is a classical musician, entrepreneur, manager and Intercultural, Marketing & Communication Advisor to Italian enterprises, business leaders, professionals and prominent members of the Italian cultural, academic and artistic communities.
She has designed, authored and developed an extensive catalogue of interactive, educational and edutainment programmes and Innovative Language Learning Systems for diverse targets and age groups edited and distributed by leading publishers such as De Agostini, UTET, IPSOA, Sole 24 Ore, Berlitz International, Planeta, Hachette and Mondadori.
She’s an advocate for Italian Country of Origin Heritage and is speaker and lecturer on: The Italian Factor: how to leverage italian cultural heritage for International business development.
Her book, ITALIAN FACTOR, co-authored with sociologist Francesco Morace was published by EGEA, Bocconi.
Barbara is committed to accelerating the awareness and outreach of the culture of sustainability in Italy and has been a long-standing, active board member in Associazione ANIMA,
In 2005, she launched Manager con ANIMA, a best-practice-sharing event format which brings together leading managers, entrepreneurs, Third Sector Operators and local communities on the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable development.
In 2018, her book on this theme, Pensare Sostenibile, Una Bella Impresa, was published by EGEA, Bocconi.
She is co-founder, together with Cesare Biasini Selvaggi and Luisa Melara, of ARIMONDI CIRCLE, an innovative connecting-people platform and think tank for the promotion of Cultural Welfare and Social innovation projects and favors a dynamic collaboration between the business sector and the world of Culture and the ARTS.
She is on the steering committe of the
Rome edition of CSR Forum and is presently working on a publication for EGEA
Bocconi entitled Il pensiero che cambia il mondo.
